1960 AC Ace Bristol
- Chassis no BEX 1160 was despatched from the factory in June 1960.
- Shipped to the US East Coast dealership of Bob Grossman in New York.
- This Ace Bristol was owned in the 1980s by Joachim H. Springer, who worked with his brother, the highly influential furniture designer Karl Springer, whose work was widely admired and imitated throughout the latter part of the twentieth century.
- Exported to the UK in 1990 and painted its current shade of 'Dubonnet Rosso'.
- Sold in 1993 to collector and Coca-Cola Director Charles Hochman who kept the car for the next 28 years.
- Acquired by present owner in 2023.
- Extensive mechanical restoration carried out including a new engine built by Ian Nuthall Racing.
- Complete with weather equipment: hoods, side screens and tonneau.
- Ideally suited for tours and rallies.
