1928 Aston Martin LM1

The first 'works' competition car LM1 was the first of the celebrated prewar LM series.  Alongside chassis LM2, LM1 was Aston Martin's first entry at Le Mans in 1928 driven by 'Bert' Bertelli and George Eyston. 
Sold to race driver 'Sammy' Davis, who also designed the winged insignia, the unique black design on LM1 is the original prototype. 
Sold from near 40 year single family ownership.
